As part of an established international network that offers emergency person-to-person service to those in need, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Diocese of Cleveland meets poverty where it exists.

* Provides free food, clothing, furniture and other necessities at its multiple hunger centers

* Prevents eviction and homelessness with rent and mortgage assistance

* Provides emergency help to prevent water, heat and electric shut-offs

* Distributes more than $40,000 worth of back-to-school supplies annually to needy children

* Donates hundreds of warm winter blankets and outerwear to homeless individuals and sheltersevery fall/winter
